Good writing tells a story.
In a world filled with new ideas and new products that seemingly appear daily, it’s hard to set yourself apart. That’s why telling stories – about your product, business, or program – is important.
That’s where I come in.
I’ve been telling stories in some form or other for more than 20 years. I’m a bit of a multi-tasker. I write about home and design, food, spirits, weddings, and general lifestyle topics for feature magazines. As a copywriter, I’ve written on topics as diverse as vegetation management for a utility company, workforce education, and the American Revolution.
I write in many formats: web content, blogs, magazine feature stories, newsletters and e-newsletters, direct mail, press releases, and much more. I also provide public relations consulting to select small businesses and non-profits.
What makes me different.
My professional background includes more than 20 years in marketing and public relations so I understand how to market your business, product or program. I enjoy identifying what’s unique about your business and turning it into content and copy that educates, engages and motivates your audience.
I like to laugh.
I don’t sweat the small stuff.
I really like exploring new ideas and what makes people tick.
I put words to work for you.
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Debbie on a variety of custom publishing projects … she’s an outstanding writer, editor, and overall colleague. She’s able to deliver high-quality, custom content regardless of how tight deadlines may be, and she does so with commendable patience, kindness, flexibility, and determination to get it exactly how the client wants it every time. I can’t recommend her highly enough.” — Ken Gagnon, Client Services Manager, McLean Communications, Inc.
